The household of Kaizer Chiefs participant Luke Fleurs believed he was gunned down in a deliberate hit. The sombre message was shared on the primary anniversary of his dying.
The younger soccer star was killed in what’s alleged to be a botched hijacking on 3 April 2024. He was simply 24 years outdated.
LUKE FLEURS REMEMBERED ON 1ST ANNIVERSARY OF DEATH
In a heartbreaking Instagram put up on the primary anniversary, Luke Fleurs’ sister, Sydi, shared her suspicions on what she believed occurred to her sibling.
“I ponder how lengthy it took them to plan this ( and sure, we imagine it was deliberate ). I ponder what was the explanation to truly sit down and plot your dying; I ponder if that they had the abdomen to eat whereas doing all of this planning.
She continued, “I ponder in the event that they personally knew you, and I ponder if anybody amongst that group had any doubts, even the slightest doubt.
“I ponder what they have been considering whereas ready for you at that robotic. I ponder why your “associates” ran away. Are you mad at them? You have been so robust and durable in stature, however figuring out that you just fell that evening – with nobody to catch you, breaks my coronary heart.
“Did it damage, did you cry? Did you name out for any of us, did you name out to the Almighty ?”
She added: “Some days are more durable than others; some days I want this plan may simply be revealed.”
This weekend, the household of Luke Fleurs are planning a Kaizer Chiefs-themed memorial in Mitchells Plain, Cape City. It will likely be a celebration of his life, stuffed with enjoyable and video games for the entire household”.
TRIAL TO BEGIN IN JULY
In the meantime, the six males accused of hijacking and murdering Luke Fleurs will go on trial on 21 July on the Palm Ridge Justice of the Peace’s Courtroom.
The accused – Ndumiso Ndura Moswane, Fernando Nando Sive, Nhlakanipho Dlamini, Franky Xaba, Maredi Mphahlele, and Thembinkosi Hlomikhawu – are charged with theft with aggravating circumstances, homicide, illegal possession of firearms, and illegal possession of ammunition.
The Nationwide Prosecuting Authority (NPA) is anticipated to name 40 state witnesses to testify.
Luke Fleurs was gunned down on 3 April in his pink VW Golf 8 GTI outdoors a petroleum station in Florida, Roodepoort.
After taking pictures Kaizer Chiefs new signing, two of the armed males sped off in a white BMW car. The soccer star’s automobile was recovered in Soweto a number of weeks later.
